Photography, to me, is an exercise in patience, exploration, and gratitude. Each frame is a unique opportunity to capture the essence of a moment, knowing it will never repeat itself. I work with 35mm film, a format that allows me not just to document, but to embrace the uncertainty of each shot, anticipating the best from the chemical process and the light that shapes it.
My approach is structured and deliberate. I’m drawn to symmetry and order in composition, but never at the expense of creativity or emotion. Every frame is a balance between geometry and human expression, where light, smiles, and gestures tell a story without for need of explanation.
Beyond portraits and everyday scenes, I’ve started exploring photography within the world of coffee and barista culture. It’s not yet a fully developed project, but it’s a growing space where I find textures, rituals, and moments worth capturing on film.
I choose film because it allows me to work at a slower, more intentional pace. In a world where immediacy dictates the flow of images, my process is more selective. Each roll of film is a conversation with time, each shot a commitment to the image, each delivery a way to thank those who allow me to photograph them.
If you’d like to collaborate or simply talk about analog photography, I’d love to connect.
